What's YOUR name?

 This may be a shorter ‘Thought for the Week’, but it packs a big punch and has an AMEN to it!
 
Sometimes a Bible verse suddenly hits you and it could well be a verse that you didn’t know or have just read past it.  The verse that really caught my attention recently was from the Book of Revelation Chapter 2 and verse 17. This verse says, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.”
 
When we accept Christ into our lives it begins a new and special relationship with our Heavenly Father. You see, as the verse says, we will be given a white stone with our own special, personal name on it. Not only that, but it will also be a name only you and God know, now I think that is beyond special.
 
This tells me that the Father, who knows me better than I know myself, has a unique, one-off, precious, loving name that He shares with me. A name that no-one else knows.
 
What a mind-blowing thought it is, that I am and you are so loved, that Father God has His own name for you and me!
 
Do I hear an AMEN?
